    Top Gear starts on SBS TV next week

    I've only seen excerpts from the programme but they've been interesting. I hope it's better than that Drive TV programme which appears to be trying to copy Top Gear.

    The only things worth watching are on public broadcasters. 'Tis rare that I watch a commercial channel. I don't have cable TV (even though I have boradband cable it for internet and phone) 'cos I'm not gunna pay to watch sport or news.

    I see 4WDTV will be starting on Sydney Ch 31 in a couple of weeks.

    So true Ron,

    It's a damnpity we can't get Brisbane 31 down at the Coast because 4wdtv is a great show. They need to throw some boosters on their TV tower!!! Top Gear looks pretty good as well.

    Top gear is the best car show on tv... everyone copies it. The pagani zonda story from last weeks drive is actually a top gear cut.

    It's the only reason why I would like cable TV.. but now that's gone
