 hmmmmmmmmmm,i think i am over fraser for now ,way to many people this year ,it seems the nat parks idea of restricting numbers isnt working, the place was jam packed even all the way up to the cape 8O

the tracks were in a shocking state, and the weed on the beaches stunk something putrid

having said that we did have a great time,bro-in-law caught a 15-20 kilo trevally off the beach rite at the top, followed by a slightly smaller one ,have pics ,just need to find a place with broadband ,will take forever on dialup and i did the walk up to the lighthouse just for you vlad ,took me and youngest son 50 minutes return trip, including time for pic taking

I'm think about going up there for a week the first week of May. There is a public holiday on the Monday, but no school hols in either NSW or QLD. Do you think this will mean it will be a lot more crowded? :?:

Whenever there is a public holday there are more people than on a 'normal' weekend.

However in your favour, May is getting toward winter whick will put some (silly) people off AND it's not school holiidays - shouldn't be too bad by modern standards !!!
