Crash on the Hume near Goulburn

I just saw this on Facebook and to my dodgy eyes that looks like an AULRO sticker in on the back left of the Disco II

Hope they are OK - It does say no injuries, but doesn't look like fun... any one recognise the vehicle or van?

Did you notice how many of those comments jumped to the conclusion that the cause of the crash was that the van was overloaded or had the weight distribution wrong?

I know it is important to get the weight distribution right, but is that one of those subjects that people who know how to do it right assume that everyone else is completely ignorant on the subject?

I can think of dozens of things that might have caused the crash. It seems that a lot of people posting comments there can think of only one reason why a caravan might be involved in a crash.

Reading he nasty & unjustified comments by people that see a picture but know no details,
Fully justifies my very limited use of Facebook for business purposes only!

I noticed the truck has some gashes down the side. As you say, anything could have happened. Too much leaping to conclusions nowadays from the instant experts.

Sadly the internet appears full of keyboard warrior experts...

I totally agree about the "comments" or wild guesses which is more what they are.

I'm still hoping i'm wrong about that being an AULRO sticker... which is really why I highlighted it....make sure it isn't some one we know and if it is, see if they need assistance..

Funny how everyone looks at the pics and not the words.

The police fbook post said no injuries.

There's been a few killed on the roads around here over the years and every time news has got out the locals (born and inbred here) come out with the ' I hope it was no-one from around here'.

It's never good when anyone is hurt or worse.
