    I doubt there would be many here that have any idea of Cuba before Castro.Many are quick to paint Castro as the villain, but how many know about the dictator, before Castro, who was supported by the USA.

    Batista was awful. The US supported Batista and then tried everything to stop Castro from ousting him. Then the US repeatedly tried to kill Castro.
