Maybe dosages are a big influence?
I take it occasionally and I haven't had that sort of issue thankfully

or maybe physical build has a bearing on it.)
I take 200mg slow release twice a day when needed. ( not to exceed 2 a day)
Previously I was taking it with a cocktail of other meds. Legally Still drove and did other things.
When I was prescribed a dosage of 6 anti-depressants pills a night, and the Doc used to ring the PBS to get the script dosage authorised, I was concerned about the amount and he told me normally it is a big dose for some, but I was a big boy and could handle it ( 190cm and 111 kgs.).
Same when I went to the dentist, and was given an anesthetic, it would kick in after the drilling was complete.
Dosages/Quantities/Frequencies are always a big thing along with many other criteria. Size of person, what the drug is treating etc, etc. I am not a pharmacist nor doctor but speaking simply from life experience. I have had what some would consider more than my fair share of injuries and mayhem in my life and have experienced a hell of a lot with these injuries but the latest one has thrown the book at me and some of the doctors. The one big thing that has kept me alive and functioning reasonably is doing what the medical professionals have told me to do, to the letter. It could be fair to say that a lot of the injuries and illnesses could be deemed as a result of misadventure and a few could be said to be gained in the line of employment at the time.
Please remember what i think is the sage advice above - listen to the health pros. Most of the time they're a lot smarter than the average bear.
