I drive a truck professionally and it astounds me of the amount of people and mothers with kids in the cars included i see and i have a very good veiw from high up that have their mobile in their hand while driving and i see it a bloody lot on hwy`s and freeways .
Majority of these idiots are not talking on their ph more like txting or dumb booking
Yes it angers and frustrates me as well as i see these idiots wander all over the road just waiting for a accident to happen with some poor innocent
I drive a van all day, that is higher up than most other vehicles as well.
Some of the things i have seen over the years are absolutely amazing....

And on topic, yes heaps are on the phone, many mothers taking kids to school as well.
Beep the horn, and all i get in reply is the finger

And tradies utes,i recon half of them are holding their phone.

As others have said,a hands free kit is very cheap. All our vans have a Pioneer stereo with bluetooth fitted, they are around $250 installed, and work very well.

I thought most GPS units have bluetooth. My 2 year old mid range Garmin does and even has voice recognition. I don't even take the phone out of my pocket.

I even offered to start a cloud funding program....😇😅.

I was bluntly informed that " we are allowed to use the mobile ph while driving for operational reasons.".

That still in my opinion isn't good enough as the tech is available to equip vehicles with state of the art comms and handsfree devices and all emergency services response vehicles should have this.

.....And the police are taught to text while driving.

Im not saying truckies are law abiding innocent drivers
The fact is there the majority ratio wise more cars out there to trucks and i see it every day ******* in cars with a phone in their hand and that can be 100 to 1 compared to truck drivers

It's just a disproportionate number around here.. I'm not sure why.

Plenty of ****-waffles in cars doing it also.
