The Texters however, should have their Phones impounded.
You're right... good thing it wasn't 'Dead Right'...

The problem with (phone) chatting whilst driving is... some parts of the brain are used in both tasks.... and during a conversation, these -vital for driving - parts are overloaded... and one task suffers.
    - Guess which one. ?

Oddly enough, the brain is less stressed with a (Press-to-talk) CB style Two-Way radio exchange. - Still not a Good Idea...

When flying, many of the radio calls are standardised, using rote-phrases and therefore can be done on 'autopilot' - ( no pun intended ) - unlike phone conversations which are 'think & talk' as you go.

Which is 'why' Bluetooth / hands-free is not the answer, it only gets around the 'Letter of The Law'. - You can still spot the drivers up front who are 'not fully engaged in the task of driving'. - They are more than a mere amusement, as attention needs be focussed on them . . . for when they do something stupid and we have to avoid the consequences.

    My tuppence worth...

    - School charter-bus driver.

Geez Daz that's not very nice you'd take your or your mates kids off the bus and stuff the rest.

And calling her a complete ****ing idiot has to worse than calling her a Muslim, wouldn't it?

Wouldn't following her be classed as stalking?

Do we still have third worlds?
And yes many are in danger but they were not on the mini bus driven by the thoughtless Muslim Female, so probably not so relevant in this case, but I see where your going with that and maybe we should start a third world thread. Ha ha ha Excuses ,excuses, after I told her off and still on the mobile

Oh and save me replying again, I am winding you up so don't take any offence, I'm just sarcastic by nature

haha I do realise what you were doing, hence the only reason why I'm replying, when it gets all too serious, its just not worth arguing....

*CHILDREN - Removing my own or related children of a bus can be justified in a very valid way. Removing someone else's children I dont know would be viewed in a very dim manner.

*FOLLOWING - No if you follow someone in a vehicle or walking because you have a community based concern as to a crime that might be happening and call the Police its a legit thing to do.

*LABELING - Calling someone (if they are) a Muslim I wouldnt have thought that would cause any offense, if I was a Muslim I'd be quite happy that someone acknowledges my faith in a positive manner.

*LABELING - Calling someone a ****ing idiot, again shouldnt cause offense as anyone that talks/txt while in supposed control of a machine weighing 1000kg or more (as in the case of a mini bus) really does deserve that label. Drivers that also fall into that are:
*Sitting at the traffic lights txtn, and after the lights go green they are still sitting their txtn.
*Looking at passenger while talking (and again driving).
*Missing the turn off on a freeway and backing up.
*Just missing the turn off on a freeway and sitting in the centre divider waiting for traffic to clear or worse swerving across lanes to get into the turn off.
*Stopped in the Emergency lane on a freeway and standing on the traffic side of their car.
*Pedestrians that just cross the road at typically dusk and think a driver can see them.
*Drivers that are clearly in a very un-roadworthy motor vehicle (which includes plenty of these school buses) and prolly care less.

and my number one ****ing idiot at the moment:
*I come round the corner in my Dad's Defender, into my residential street and there is a car across the road blocking it (obviously just reversed out of a driveway), I stop and look at the driver, he is sitting there txtn, I beep the horn, he puts up his hand and gives me the "stop wait" gesture (obviously wanted to finish txtn right?) I drive around him up the curb and clip the Defender into the corner of his ****box new Kia, and park in my driveway a few houses down, the Police later gave me a small infringement notice for lack of care while driving etc, and the driver got a fine for using his mobile phone.

What was this original post about... Muslims, children, idiot drivers, idiot bus drivers, or irate drivers seeing others do the wrong thing

I think overall Land Rover owners have a higher degree of being better drivers and wanting to do the right thing and there for get frustrated at an obvious lack of give a **** out there on the roads, I do understand the OP's comments.

A truck driving friend recently saw an accident caused by a Muslim woman driver and stopped to give his details to the innocent driver. The offender sat on the kerb wailing and wouldn't give any details but managed to phone her (presumably) husband who arrived 20 minutes later.
He gets his licence out and wants to give his details as the driver!! Trucky wasn't having any of this and called the cops who arrived shortly after.
Not sure of the outcome but the husband was irate and the wife was still wailing when he left.

I've heard, but I stress that as yet I am unable to verify, that a Digital signal requires more brain function than Analog. A mic on the end of a curly wire is cumbersome. I'd like a dollar for every time I wrapped one around a steering column.
So yes I't's best to pull over for all telecommunications, Laws not withstanding.
    Cheers, Billy.

Many homo sapien cultures nominate a head of the house hold that must give approval before any important matters can be addressed, this might have been the case?
As for trying to pass a another driver's licence , you only need to provide the name and address of the nominated driver in an accident, you don't need to produce a licence to the other driver. If attending police ask for a driver's licence to be produced, then one would have to be shown to the officer.

The switching of the homo sapien identity of whom was driving may be purely and insurance scam, as the alleged homo sapien driver might have a high insurance excess for various reasons and the other homo sapien was trying to pass off as the driver so the insurance excess was lower?
Maybe the alleged homo sapien didn't posses a driver's licence?

( wow, got through this reply without mentioning sex, sexual preferences, religion, age, marital status, race, what attire was worn so no one gets offended So all politcally correct.
    Cheers, Mario

I just heard from Taronga, Zoo that the Apes in general and the Chimpanzees in particular ere very offended by your last post. They claim that many of them are quite capable of driving a Motor Vehicle and quite a few are better than most Homo sapiens, yet they didn't even rate a mention.
    Cheers, Billy.
