It is definitely not a Defender, or even a close relative of it. I suspect it is a Mazda, built in Myanmar, and unique to that country. It bears a passing resemblance to one that was there when I was in the country, supplied to the army. My memory of them usually was with the bonnet up and a couple of soldiers leaning in.
