In Adelaide Mark, been here since Friday...

Was all done in 20 min but geez. The 2 contacts in the nerve root - I have never felt anything like that in my life...

However the relief was quick and I'm feeling much better - was able to walk around without my lovely meds today - first time in 8 weeks and no pain at all..

    Time for the rehab plan...

    Tips for recovery

Always be sure to support your spine when you sneeze
Always sit with your feet below your bum and your lumber region supported. If you have to, put your arm between your lumber region and the back of the chair. If no back on the chair support your upper body with your arms.
Strengthen your core muscles, if you haven't already.
Learn to move slowly and deliberately, and train yourself to make your reflex actions, ones that protect your spine.
Don't go too hard on the pain killers. Allowing yourself to feel some pain will train you to move correctly and protectively.
You already have the best car for your spine, so that box is ticked.
Get the second or third hardest Sealy Posturepedic Mattress.
Always sleep with your legs straight out. Sleeping in the recovery position will train your Psoas major muscles to shorten, which will put pressure on your Lumber Spine.
Never exceed the parameters set out out for safe lifting and for one or two years, reduce maximum weights by 50%.

If I can think of more I'll let you know.
    Cheers, Billy.
