Was it a rattle can Job?
Looks good now!
Thought I'd share my work only problem is now I want to do the whole car black.

Only issue I see is that it's a gloss finish. I usually go for a matte finish, cuts the glare from the sun (or from the police spotlights)![]()

Was out of a spray gun but all I had was one with a 1.8 tip so has a little orange peel will be getting a 1.4 before I paint the whole car. Supercheap auto has a sale on there enamel paint so I thought why not my bonnet looks horrible with the faded paint and clear peeling. It's not a professional job but it turned out nice I'm pretty happy with it.
I will be watching this post with great interest, I have the same problem with my bonnet same colour vehicle, Not so much faded but the clear pealing, I have two thoughts one lightly rub back the clear and polish the paint and respray with clear or paint it black also
Gday mate, if your clear is peeling your better of giving it a sand and either respray same colour and a clear coat finish if not do what I did and just sand and spray a colour of your choice I used dupli colour black enamel from Supercheap auto it drys with a nice shine without the need for clear coat. If you try rub back and apply clear over old clear you will have alot of imperfections, best to sand back and start over.
Cheers
Lars
