    Todd River

Quick pic of the Todd flowing through Heavy Tree Gap,.not a common sight for many.
Like many other parts we've had heaps of rain.
    Many airstrips closed/boggy/flooded.

A sight we've seen a few times. Used to live at the Ross River Caravan Park for a while, before moving into a series of rented places in town. Have flown over the area in flood before too, though we were hoping that the floods would prevent us getting to the airport - they picked us up in a chopper and took us out to the airport for the shift change flight out to the Granites.

Five years in the Alice before moving down here to Kalgoorlie in '91. Saw the Todd in flood a couple of times while we were up there. It is certainly something to see. Never got lucky enough to be out at Ayers Rock during heavy rains though - that would be something to see (and take some decent photos of).
    Cheers .........

Wasn't the Henley on Todd cancelled several years ago because there was water in the Todd?

There'd be a few Todd river Tontines getting washed downstream, hopefully with the slumberers ok.

No wheel in that thing! Nothing but buttons to push - EVERYWHERE

Including the button on a camera.
