    Our bread

We used to make our own bread. Found it much cheaper than store-bought.

Used bulk flour, either white or multigrain mixed 50-50 with the white, a dash of olive oil, yeast, a bit of dark brown sugar and water. No other additives. All done in a breadmaker.
Not done it in a while. Using cracker biscuits now.

But now I think about it.
Above mix, plus a bit of cinnamon and then a few sultanas at the right moment and you have a cheap multigrain fruit loaf.

But you need an electric knife to cut it.

We did not like the Lauke pre-mix kits. Much preferred to keep it simple.
Problem was nobody sells a 5kg multigrain bag here. Small bags, or a 12kg monster.
