    You can't take some poeple anywhere.

    I went out for dinner last night to a bistro, ( Yeah for some one that doesn't go out, I've been out a few times of late) there were 3 TVs there.
    My mate , who happens to like gadgets and apps was playing on his android phone. He was searching for something, he kept looking at the TV. I soon discovered that he was looking at the Brand of the TV, in this case TCL. He was searching for an app to control that TV.
    He was successful and turned the TV off via his phone.
    He then confessed that he has apps for different models.
    I told him that he would be real popular in the sports bar with people watching the closing minutes of a race they are betting on and he changes the channel or turns it off. He just chuckled. I now wonder if he is guilty of doing that.
    Oh the embarrassment

    Hi,
    I was given a "TV be gone" one Xmas. It was a key fob sized IR light source with a rolling set of on/off codes for just about every set made at the time.
    It had a good range, no matter how big the pub dining room, racing and keno went dark.
    Care was needed not to expose the led to any security cameras though, as it would be visible as a pulsing light.
    Great fun for a while, but as we tended not to go to such venues normally, the novelty wore off.

    I like a good joke but in this case. I'm not a even slightly amused.

    If you go to a Pub, expect Pub type atmosphere.
    Want restaurant atmosphere, go to a restaurant.

    Don't bloody walk in and start turning stuff off and spoiling other punters fun and atmosphere..

    Some selfish people out there..

    Umm by doing this it might delay meals getting delivered or lack of service at the bar because staff are too busy running around trying to work out why TV's keep turning off

    WTF Are you Anal or what if a punter wants to watch his bets and watch horses or dogs go to the sports bar or the tab.
    Why does any one else have to watch or listen to that crap id do the same
