I'm afraid Toxic's post has flown straight over my head.
Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder, and 2010 Timer person of the year, is currently being dragged thru the US courts for data breaches which affected the US presedential election.
The bloke pictured is Tom Anderson, founder of the early social media (and competing website) platform Myspace. This picture was his profile picture, and anyone who joined myspace had this guy as a 'friend' as default. Tom sold myspace in 2005 for $580 million dollars. He now travels the world and take photos of these destinations 'for a living'.
TFW stands for 'That face when' or 'That feelilng when'.
Ie... 13 or so years ago, that smug bastard who wanted to be everyone's friend is now living it up, while poor suckers like zuckerberg are being dragged thru the courts. The irony.
TL;DR, welcome to the 21st century. It's actually an interesting power balance / paradigm shift... the data these companies hold and have now been shown to have distributed for cash, could be incredibly powerful.
So should we stick to the good thing or quit while we're ahead?
