This place can be a bit surreal sometimes & it can be a bit difficult to separate what is & what isn't said in jest, now & then.

It is usually called Blacksmiths Beach, AFAIK not Redhead or 9Mile.
It is pretty soft and I got bogged several years ago in an FJ cruiser for about the first time in my life.
They have introduced an entrance fee due to the number of hoons that go there on weekends seeing it is in metropolitan Newcastle.
