Zippo probably would have given him a free replacement in exchange.

I have a Zippo that I was given by an international telecoms company when I went to a meeting in their country 20+ years ago. I have no need for it as I havne't smoked for 25+ years. I used to fill it prior to going camping. The lighter fluid soon evaporates so it's pretty useless if one doesn't keep it topped up. A Bic disposable lighter is more useful.

He has an interesting array of tools.

I have an ultrasonic cleaner I bought from Jaycar. Absolutely worthless. It cleans nothing.

I too had a Zippo, but like you tired of topping it up all the time, now I always carry a Bic, (mostly for destroying documents ), which have even been through the wash and still work.
