That can be hard, in lion season, Phil.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Though it does not look like an off road vehicle, it seems to have a very good ramp breakover angle.
Reminds me of the old farmer who bought a new tractor. He did not realise the cab was taller than old one. It was unloaded off the lorry in his yard. He started it up and drove it into the shed...literally. He did not notice that the cab was too high to fit under doorway. It made a mess of the cab. The old man stopped but could not get out as the cab was all distorted so the doors and back window were no good as exit points. Funnily enough he was putting it into the shed to keep it safe until he got the insurance changed over. Anyway there was a winch on the back of the delivery truck to aid getting machinery off the loadbed which could be sloped for loading/unloading. The winch was utilised to get the tractor out from under the door. The farmer was freed by pulling off one of the twisted doors. The tractor was put back on the lorry to be taken back to the dealer for repairs.
At least it gave them time to work things out....Now if he had been in an Ineos Grenadier he'd have been away in a flash, with no time for a reconciliation
