Last Tuesday just when departing Chez Bee I heard a distant sound, WTF!

Further investigation showed a Drone spraying in the vineyard next door., yes a bloody drone.

Had never seen one in flight before but this one was zipping here & zipping there between the Grape vine rows & you know how close they are planted.
But it's size was remarkable (to me) from a distance it appeared to have two quite bright "headlamps" & what looked like a 20 or 40 litre spray tank(s) & across the arms it appeared to be, say 1.5m A fair old load in anyone's language
I guess this is he way things are going on the agricultural scene so get use to it M Bee.
Compared to a Tractor & spray outfit It was doing the same job plus pushing the spray downwards in amongst the foliage whereas the tractor spray seems to only hit from the side mainly.

Cost of equipment & labour should be a lot less than the Tractor Job.
I don't know whether it was a Trade Demo or going to be a regular thing as there were a couple of bloke down there.

    Pardon mon amis.

    Polling_day_transport.jpg

A couple of the voters where I voted in the referendum parked their transport in the school yard under the shade of the tree. I parked in the shade of the trees on the other side of the road, next to the RFS "Prepare for the fire season!" display.

I doubt you'd get any argument from Saitch on that one, Paul.

Same for me,not a bad feeling when a Barra hits a lure, although last time we were out SWMBO landed the biggest one by a huge margin.

But i still recon it comes second to dropping a large boar with a single shot, running flat out at 200 yards.......
