When the tide comes in they will float it off , then at low tide drive the D-cab out
They look like the pontoons the marina Co we made gangways for about 25 years ago. they had one guy who did installations for them that would do that. I remember once he put a 12m gangway across a 3.5m alum punt to take it out into position.

Who knows J2, painting a wall blue is "supposed" to keep flies away.

I think the bloke that told me this had a lot of Surplus Blue Paint.
