Your one would be a tad difficult to take on Picnics & jolly olde Hols though, even if it came with a Neck Strap, where as the Brownie was more your Point & Shoot. After a fashion.

To be PC, it is actually a line boat, not a tug. It's function is to run a messenger line to whatever the ship is going to moor against, or in some cases run the actual mooring line.

The Seamans Union is VERY militant and will have you in the PC court if you call such a vessel a "tug".
