A tad noisy exteriorwise but interior they were as quiet as a B737 cabin IMHO, but they did an amazing job for all those pre-tunnel years.

But alas all gone now. We did two crossings, Dover to France (Calais) & France (Calais) to Dover & glad we did as they were a bit of history.

When we went, the cat wouldn't cross the strait if waves reached 6 metres.
