IMHO at first glance it looked more like a UK Saladin Personnel Carrier

but as it has lost it's gladrags it may still be a Bushmaster.

Wot you want the tyres for anyway they'd be chock full of Listening devices? Wharf Buffers might be all they are good for now. Maybe you should build a wharf instead of bits to clutter up the shed.

Michelin XML. No longer available here, unless you have contacts in the Army supply chain. A number of armies used them...
I have 5....... They have incredible grip, can run almost totally deflated but don't like high speed.

I thought it was a certain driver failure, but obviously the failure is vehicle based.

Came across this today. Seems he let his girlfriend drive it. Only a short distance later it ended up in a ditch wedged roof down. He had put a galvanised chassis on it, roof tent with shower etc. The only thing salvagable from it are, the galvanised chassis, axles and wheels. Seems it was roof down in water. When it was lifted out by the wheels the weight of the water took the roof off. He is working over seas and intends to get it rebuilt when funds permit. The girlfriend got a scratch on her wrist.
