Not sure what is the problem with the Rover vs Panda though.
    Cheers

While very slow (from memory 0 to 100 Kph was over 20 seconds) the Fiat Panda 4x4 is noted for its ability to tackle terrain others cannot

They used to be very popular with farmers in hilly or mountainous areas of Italy. Small size and light weight were its friends

Very simple old machine, reckon they were Englands "answer" to the Lanz Bulldog !!!

Mate had 5 Field Marshalls, and a Crawler, which we used in the (23HP) competition at the Vintage Tractor pulls here in SA.

Son In Law has 2 Series 1 (Non Goers) and a very nice Series 2 that he he gets out occasionally for a run down the road and vintage plough days.

Farmer North of us in the 1950's had two hooked in Tandem and used them to clear Mallee Scrub in the development of Telopea Downs.
He would Hand Crank one and then tow start the other to save the expense of cartridge.

    Very fond memories
    Regards
    Harry
