no one?![]()
Hi Everyone,
First time posting on this part of the forum. its weird over here
Okay so me and some friends live in Bunbury W.A, we want to go exploring/camping this coming weekend. We have been to plenty of places that are on the map books and google and we want something a bit more secluded. We are respectful of the habitat and aren't hooligans!
Does anyone know of some juicy little spots either around perth or down south, Margaret river way?
Many thanks in advance.

Not many secluded spots in the SW at this time of year!![]()
I would recommend the App, "Wiki Camps Australia". About $7 well worth
the investment. WikiCamps Australia | Camping app for Australia | Travel | iPhone iPad iPod Android Phone Tablet | Camping, Caravan Parks, Backpacker Hostels, Day Stops, Rest Areas, Information Centres, Points of Interest, POI, Dump Points
Cheers
Yep, I can vouch for Wikicamps. I bought it before Xmas and used it on my recent 7,500km trip to Cape Leveque and back. Lots of good info on there and a great place to start narrowing down options.
It is surprising that people don't want to do their own exploring, my experience of SW W.A. has been that there more secluded campsites in National Parks and State Forests than a person could visit in a lifetime...
Even some/most of the National Parks campgrounds have camp sites positioned out of sight from each other.
For those who are happy to join in with the crowds .... https://parks.dpaw.wa.gov.au/connect...ing-down-south
We ended up going to Stringers camp site just south of Dwellingup. I got tasked with finding my group a place to camp that night, i dont have the luxury of exploring as if it turns to poo and we spend half a day searching for a campsite, i wont here the end of it from the fellas im with, thats just what they are like..
Thanks for the advice folks, i downloaded that app. Hopefully it should uncover some gems next trip we do.
