Geez, the pair of you are running cloaked it would seem!

Touch wood, but in my camo 101, people seem to see me better than that!

poor little Haffy, just gets up steam and on the brakes again.

I remember mustering sheep in them , 28mph top speed...if my memory serves me.

Didn't matter what gear it was in , full throttle was the go.

Mine goes a lot faster but just makes you feel more vulnerable.

But the point of the post is spot on - irrespective of what car I am driving I see this sort of thing all the time and as result now have dash cams in all of my vehicles. Front and rear in the RRS and the Haflinger and 101 share one between them.

Must learn how to get footage off my Blackvue.
Sor a corker in the city on Saturday.A reasonably new Kia or similar with a couch upside down on its roof, waiting to drive off the footpath onto the road.
There was a very dark coloured arm out of each window holding onto it,I kid you not. They were Africans or similar.

Just pull the micro SD card out of the end of it. Get yourself one of those USB plugs with a micro SD slot in the back of it, and simply plug it all into your computer in a USB port. Can get them at any electronics shop - I've got a couple of them. One stays in the car (is actually sitting on top of the BlackVue camera) and the other is in the desk inside. You will then see groupings of three file types - the large ones are the video clips - the others are sat/nav and sound. Click on the video files to watch them individually.

Alternatively, you can download a Blackvue "viewer" from their website. Watching the video clips in this gives you a few more options and a bit better laid out information - but I generally don't bother with it.

I had my micro SD card in the computer today. We had one of the "lations" prowling up the back laneway looking over back fences, obviously looking for somewhere he could easily steal something from. So he got chased out of the laneway by a large, angry bullbar, and the local Police have been given the footage and apparently have already identified him.
    Cheers .........

A lot of those with dark brown arms are also driving Perth taxis these days and I think they all went to the local suicide school when they learnt to drive. Taxi drivers have always taken chances but so many on the roads now are shocking.
Actually I find driving the Defender is worse because many seem to assume it's old so it must be slow and pull out regardless of how close you are to them!
Then there's the usual drivers of "foreign" vehicles (I'm being polite here) who just have to show how superior they are by overtaking and then turning left right across the front of us. Or racing up the inside and then cutting in front regardless of there being nothing else behind us!
And strangely so many have silly stickers saying things like "built up not bought" or "lifted and locked" plus the seemingly obligatory JD or Bundy stickers and cow horns across the windscreen or back window.
There seems to be an element of immaturity among many of these turkeys.

Yesterday I had an enjoyable fishing trip out on the boat, I took out a visitor from Alaska, we were traveling along the Western Port highway, speed limit 100kph. The Rangie is about 3 tonne , the heavy fiberglass boat and trailer, gear added to the equation, and some one pulls out in front of me from a give way sign.
All this happened with only a few seconds to spare, I did manage to apply some breaking and my hands became implanted on the horn button and I missed "T boning" the idiot with a second to spare. At the end of this short dash came vid you will see how close we came to hitting.
We were a little shaken after this, and I caught a dumb look on the face of the other driver as he passed.

The time line when he decides to go for it and the near collision is only a couple of seconds.
