Whew! Just finished packing for the start of 'Project Power Up' [biggrin]
Will get the cable run to the main switchboard this weekend and hopefully most of the GPO's run depending on how good my young apprentices are. Gumtree to the rescue on some 16mm orange circ for 1/4 of retail price - the punter I got it from didn't tell me where he got it from and I didn't ask...
Also scored 2, 1/2ish used rolls of 2.5mm TPS (probably about 70 metres all up) for $20. Bargain! :)
The following weekend I'll borrow a scissor lift from work and do the lighting.
Now that's a shed!
Don't care about water tanks, cabling or switchboards: will there be a BBQ and hot water for the survivors of this years Wombat?
What a way to meet new "friends".
Did you get some of these?
Purlmates/c&zmates. I will never wire a shed again without using them. Make the job so much quicker, easier and neater.https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/im...017/06/227.jpg
No, got some weatherproof GPO's for everywhere that are an easy installation in a shed. I did look at those, but it would have cost a bit more to supply those and I am trying to keep the cost down for GG.
Parts costs are more of a consideration and labour cost on this job.
The labour is a bit of a barter situation. :)
