Biggest concern from the company was whether a semi would get up the drive. There have been a couple before, one from the same mob so I knew it could be done, but advised backing it in.

Anyway it came, the driver drove past having a look and then backed it right in with only a couple of corrections.

Nice bloke, gave him a hand with the chains, etc, so he didn't have to get off the trailer while running the crane. He said thanks for the backing in advice because backing out could well and truly ruin anyone's day for a few reasons with the traffic these days, even with a spotter.

I was delivering roof trusses in a Scania, to Mt Tamborine. The crane wasn't big enough to jib them off the back of the trailer, I had to slew over the cab.
