One of the other jobs completed over the last few days was:
* The installation of a tap in the new orchard (I had already dug the trench for the plumber)
* The installation of a tap on the corner of the shed (same again)
Here are some pics:

The trench has been filled in:

The plumber made a bit of a mess when installing the down pipes at the front of the shed.. He had to dig a trench along the front of the shed, to join the middle down pipe to the corner down pipe. I'm not angry - "it is what it is".. He then filled in the trench with B-Grade gravel, which is fine - but it was a different colour to the existing gravel. I had discovered at the local Mitre 10 store recently that there is 2 types of local B-grade, one has more clay in it and has a lighter colour. Anyway - in the process of digging the trench the plumber also left clay scattered about the place..
Here you can see the clay and the B-grade (oh and a small pile of excess concrete that he had to remove in order to dig his trench):

So yesterday I went off to Mitre 10 and ordered 3 mtrs of the "right" (colour wise) B-grade... My shoulders are feeling it again today - over the past few months I've moved 11 mtrs of river pebbles, and 5 mtrs of B-grade by shovel... :bat:
I then spent a few hours spreading it out, raking it, and then used my mighty Skoda to drive back and forth about 30 times to compact it...

I'm very happy with the end result - once we've had some rain, the top dressing with clean-up an blend in with the remainder of the driveway... Hopefully with all of the clay & gravel, the pesky onion grass will stay away for a while.. [wink11]
Next weekend - I have hired 2 x 3mtr skips to remove all of the rubbish that has been left over from the job, as well as from a general tidy up of the sheds...
Then - everything is 100% finished and I can get back into playing with the Landy's again...
Hmm - what's next? The Perentie or the 2Door? [bigsmile]
