Best not to drill green concrete as it can induce cracks, especially next to edges, and the underside of the slab will tend to blow out. Let it cure and drill with a rotary hammer drill and all will be good.
Thats true, as i am guessing the slabs not overly thick. My footing for my hoist were 500mm thick.
Fair comment but I was a long way from the edge and of course didn't need the drill on hammer to penetrate green concrete. The hoist didn't ever come loose as it wasn't bolted down until the concrete had hardened sufficiently. Getting things done the easy way is what I aim for. [bigsmile1]Quote:

As for the other questions:
The conduit trench is approximately 13mtrs long, plus I suppose you might want to add 2mtrs at each end to be safe? Bringing the total to 17mtrs..
I had a look at the orange plastic pipe - measuring across (is that the diameter?) it's 30mm wide... :)

Cool, sounds like 25mm conduit? I may pop up during the week to have a look at everything and finalise what is needed.
Also need to talk about lighting - I'll email you a link to some LED fixtures that may suit - I'll also draw up a suggestion of how I would do the lighting, but you're welcome to modify this if you want to. :)
Looks like 32mm conduit to me! I would hope so, although not far, pulling a 6mm2 through 25mm would suck.
You could go a 10mm2 or maybe a 16mm2 orange circ in 32mm
