Telstra Outages

The lithe didn't effect my team.....but sometimes I think it's easier for people (business work) to call someone rather than nut the job out themselves. When companies say but it effected our business, maybe a percentage but I reckon a good number it effects them because they have become too reliant on communication instead of just getting in with the job.

I think we all need to take a step back with the current way of life, stop moaning and blaming someone when it goes wrong, and look at what's going on.. Things are advancing too quickly, not everyone can keep up.. There are more and more power outages, phone outages, droughts, wars, freak weather events, and general unrest etc etc than there has ever been.. I don't dwell on the gloom, but have noticed things are changing for the worst world wide over the past 10+ yrs.., and think its about time we all wised up and got back to basics! Have stock of water, have a well prepared property for fire, have the ability to be self suficient, and dont rely on all the 'stuff' we take for granted. It doesn't cost a huge amount to setup... Two rain water tanks, a Genset and a fire pump. Coms we can do without if we are not reliant on it or governed by it.. Just my thoughts! :)

Could be true that.
My mate had problems because our site is large with several entrances and lots of kids running around unpredictably, so we have to be very fussy about where outside vehicles go for safety reasons. Can't have tradies running down kids. Also the tradies would never find the right place in the new building without guidance.
