Hi all,
At the risk of provoking the socialists, bolshevics and card carrying commies amongst us, in Victoria (I just live here, doesn't mean I like it), the answer to outrageous tolls has come in the form of...
 an election.
Local councillors who didn't oppose the tolls on the scorseby have been voted out or will be.
The state MLA's who haven't opposed it will be judged, as were the federal MHR who supported it in 2004.
I think NSW is quite a ways from a state election, but that is the window of opportunity for us punters.
Unless I am mistaken (I have been known to be), NSW people only recently voted for more of the same? suckers
Regards
Ralph

But when you vote for the other guys - they then say its too late to remove tolls or we are locked into contracts etc etc etc. They are all tarred with the same brush - there should be a law to enforce new governments to follow through with promises.
The removal of tolls just ain't going to happen unless the Feds step in and fund the road like they did with the F3.
Also why arn't Tollways marked as T eg the M7 should really be the T7, and what is the difference between a Motorway that doesn't have a toll and a Freeway - should they have the same designator - maybe the F series of roads are Federally funded so the F in the F3 is not actually Freeway but Federal.
