If you'd let me know at the time, you could have come here and soaked up some of our air conditioning. Plenty of parking too, :)

I find your comments a little hard to understand I have lived in Melbourne and Seymour over the years It does not matter where you live on this earth you get days of extremities of hot and cold periodically and and certain times of the year as we all know it are pron to different weather patterns I was born and raised in Hobart and can remember days in December.and January with temperature in the high 30 or in the 90s on the old scale. Brisbane or south east Qld. has the best climate climate of any place in Australia If you think its tropical or in your words To hot try living in Townsville or further north when they have a hotter than normal period I can assure you you will never complain about heat or humidity ever again. I saying this the world weather patterns are changing and our seasons are nearly unpredictable compared to 4or 5 years ago.
Hodgo
Horses for courses Hodgo. I lived in Elimbah for 18 years. Whilst SE Qld is certainly not the hottest place around, I can't stand humidity and thankfully I never acclimatised.
Tamworth is hot in summer (too bloody hot) but at least the humidity is bearable. Give me winter any day, I just love the minus mornings and 15 deg days.
I prefer mid-northern NSW......way better weather balance than brisbane.
why then are thousands each month coming up here to live then?
Not much different here.....[bigsad]
Traffic is absolutely shocking, way worse than many parts of Sydney.
Weekend traffic is worse than peak hour was a few years ago.
I am in it all day, every day,so have a pretty good idea what its like[bigsad]
Houses in the inner areas of the city are not much cheaper than Sydney prices either.
Traffic on the Gold Coast is also a shocker
And i read an article recently in the paper, where the premier said there were no road upgrades planned for at least 5yrs.
What we really need is some sort of public transport system that actually works, that is the main issue here. The system we have is way behind the southern cities.
