I see it's currently 46 in Birdsville - time to jump in the river.
Here in Noosa it's 32 with a nice breeze on my iced coffee.
We abandoned Maleny where it's 38 and headed for the coast.
Rellies in Lismore are suffering in 42.

yesterday at a Day on the Green , Casey Chambers announced that sweat was running down her butt crack.

She said she may rename her entourage "Casey Chambers and the sweaty butt cracks"

Kept a lot water up to her. Before during and after. Also froze a lot of ice filled an esky with ice and water and through a towel in it. After each race she got to have cold water and was draped in a freezing dripping wet towel. Dropped her temperature very well. could keep recharging the towel in the icewater. quite a few others got to use it. They all appreciated it.

I slept through it, but it's on the way back.

Just before Christmas I was stuck in Brisbane for two nights waiting to get a load home.

Both nights at around midnight it was about 28 degrees with the humidity at 78%!

Then on the morning I got loaded at about 10 am it was about 32 degrees and the humidity was so bad that just standing at the back of my truck to supervise the loading,
not doing anything physical, sweat was pouring off me.

I don't know how people can live there. I thought maybe people get acclimatized, but reading this thread I wonder.

I will take a Victorian summer day in the low 40's with around 8% humidity any day.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
