I've been thinking I've left the wood run too late...
My Weetbix nearly went down the wrong hole this morning when I opened up my daily Weather Report email.
Mrs DARK61 wasted no time in submitting a formal request for me to advance my woodcutting activities pronto.
I know this is Tasmania - but really?!

Mrs Geedublya would swap with you at the moment but I don't think she'd be very happy come May.
We've got 41, 41 and 38 forecast for the next 3 days and I'll be nagged about the aircon I haven't installed.

We've got it easy over here for the next week or so. Has been very wet for the past couple of days, and I'm wearing "winter" clothing at the moment.
Don't think I'd like to be around Sydney at the moment though. Come to think of it .................. I'm not real fussed about being around Sydney any time.
But at least they've probably still got power to run the A/C's in Sydney. SA is looking at similar temperatures, and if you're lucky, you might have power to keep the A/C and the fridge running for at least part of the day.![]()
Cheers .........

Just returned from sailing a 30 foot Huon , celery pine boat, Kettering to Constitution Dock, as part of the Wooden Boat Festival. A lovely mornings work .. light S.W, warm sun ,all the villages up the channel basking in a glorious day.

I was being entertained by the news, and glanced at the pad , saw the author, and quick thought hatched in the cranium"this will be fun". Ricki reckoned I must be loopy, chuckling at the antics of politicians........
I saw the temp on some mountain in Tassie this morning was -2.4. Would that be correct?
