The water has been over the first bridge and receeded.
Still raising at the main bridge.Big issue there, there are a heap of temporary props holding that bridge up,chances are they aren't there any more.

It was warmer leaving work than going in. Still needed the raincoat though. SOR suburban roads are okay in my area at the moment. Everyone is driving carefully for once and I'm sitting here in my Deefer waiting to pick up loneranger from the cycle path as its best that he's not riding on the road with this much water about.
Apparently this cold wet weather is all down to global warming.... and if it isn't that the "warmists" will decide it's all our fault anyway. Like everything else.
I love the rain but can't stand the cold.
Bring back summer, please. :D

I just heard a forecast on the ABC wireless saying there is a chance of snow in parts of the south west on sunday:):):):):):):):)

Well, we had our cold, wet weather yesterday. Today has been quite warm, and VERY bloody muggy (at least by Kalgoorlie standards). The evaporative air con's have really been struggling to achieve anything much at all today.
I spent the morning in doors, painting a room I have just finished re-plastering a damaged wall in. Then I mowed the lawn once it was dry enough to get the mower into the long grass without bogging it every couple of minutes.
They've been forecasting possible very violent storms for late today, with the possibility of large hail and damaging winds and rain. Looks and sounds like we're about to cop it. It is very dark outside at the moment - I haven't seen the sky this black for quite a while. Wind is picking up quite rapidly, pink and greys are screeching and heading for the hills (or wherever they head to when a bad storm comes in). There's a lot of thunder rolling around - and the BOM radar site shows some heavy stuff coming in from the north.
Might go and quickly throw the swag out on the back lawn and get a decent night's sleep. :D
Here you go Ian.
