Thread: Info stolen from AULRO site

What a lowlife,copying without permission is one thing but selling them,not a nice thing to do.

I understand your being upset drivesafe, but he is really only offering for free what is already available and supply of a carton to help him install them. Same thing as most of us do. Most people usually just forget to supply the carton. Hope you dont find this offensive as the diagrams are superb. Maybe you could ask the outerlimits moderator to give you a plug if they are going to use your intellectual property. I have helped many people install eqyuipment or carry out repairs with the bill usually being a carton or a bottle of bourbon, which we usually share anyway. Now if he was charging money maybe we could all drive around and fix him.

CraigE, this low life has stolen someone else's property by not giving the other person or in this case the other site, AULRO, the credit for the diagrams in the first place and then he is using the diagram as an excuse to try and drum up some work for him self.

In addition to stealing the diagrams, he can’t read them and has actually give incorrect info based on the diagrams.

Why doesn't someone just jump on and ask him where he got the diagrams from?

He's bound to implicate himself in some way when trying to answer.

If he says he got it from another site, then ask that he kindly credit the original owner...

fair point and I agree he should have at least given credit to you and referred people to you for bits and pieces. BTW do you make and sell the headlight wiring looms still as the set up looks great and all in all may be easier to buy from you rather than make up?

I totally agree with you mate - he could have at least mentioned where he got the drawings!

Hi again CraigE, I’m not worried about getting the credit, but as AULRO hosts this site and allows these diagrams to be posted here, then AULRO is entitled to the credit.

As for the headlight loom, I have had the parts for quite a while now but have not had the time to post the info on my site.

Over the Christmas break, I hope to add a large number of new items to my line up.

Hi Steinzy, I’m not positive but I think it is an offence and can carry a hefty find. I’m not interested in going that far but I am going to make sure others are warned off him.

As stated earlier, I did those diagrams specifically for the AULRO site and I don’t mind others using them on other sites but they MUST acknowledge AULRO with the credit the site deserves
