Happy with how much quicker the forum responds now Inc

The only hitches I've come across, and you may have already fixed/changed it, is the "max 5 images per post", (which includes emoticons for some reason). The second is the default image resize seems to be set at 100% page width, it appeared to be about 75%ish on the old system?

    Cheers,

It works. Yeah some issues but it's still working better than any of the upgrades they've done at work over the last 10 years.

I like the orange background as it doesn't remind me of being in the office

If there was an addition I'd be able to suggest, is a darker VB layout than the 'green' theme- something to prevent glare when reading the forum for too long. The blacker the better.

It can never be quick with all the satellite bouncing from the UK and back but it's a vast improvement.

Some times when replying to a post the space bar does not work.
Will i survive with it , no one will care
When searching new posts sometimes it is hard to click on the last post.
    Any way onwards and upwards.
Yes i found i can't quote a post as when I try typing it won't let me use the spacebar. So i gave up and used tapatalk.
To be fair tapatalk was always my favourite for writing posts.

Other than that quite good though.

Honestly I dont like it, it is more like a regression to the forums of the 90s and eary 00s. Harsh on the eyes, hard to read and very congested. Not as easy to navigate.
Still getting used to it, so not sure where others are seeing any improvement. I am not one for just saying it is better for the sake of it.
However if it is what we have to live with then it is what it is.

i cannot replicate the issue but i have installed a plugin that supposedly puts a notice up to say

"if you have the space bar issue you need to hit the enter key and then the space bar will work."

it is an issue with any chrome based browser (which i don't normally use myself but am using to type this message to see if i can replicate it, which i can't thus far)

IE 11 has issues as well i am told.

hopefully a future release of chromekit will fix it.

personally i think some of the issue is also internet security package related as i am seeing lots of issues with browsers and security packages in my day to day life fixing repairing / sorting computers. AVG being the worst offender.

I have found that Edge works pretty well but the auto correct make it lag sometimes.

    PS.
I finally got to see the space bar bug.

i fixed it by hitting enter twice then back spacing and it worked fine for the rest of the message.

    PPS.
i found i dont get the space bar issue when quoting if i hit enter and type in before the text i am quoting...

you do realise there are multiple skins available? I just set the greenwhite one as default as it is green.

scroll down to the bottom navbar and on the left side you will see the style picker.

by default it will say greenwhite

try some of the others out.

i will create a few more as i get time.
