Albany WA has a huge classic car community.The hold whats known as the best Around the Houses meet in Australia,Hill Climbs,speed tests,car shows,they are all run super professionaly.2 of the main parties in the coming election have promised big $$$ for a purpose built Motorplex.
I missed out this weekend,only found out Thursday when all sorts of classics and riceburners started heading south thru town that there was another event on.Albany has taken over "Racewars" that was held in the eastern wheatbelt and dying a slow death.
Had a look on You Tube today,I will be there next year I hope.

We had a WA AULROian drag his Subaru down there behind his Defender,he did 225kmh over 1000m.Awesome Defender
