Bingo! Nailed it in one. I agree, he is one of the most exceptional young men I have met. Clearly he did not suffer from his mixed parentage. Perhaps one of the most remarkable things about his promotion of rural medicine is that he started doing this as an undergraduate, and has pushed it strongly as a leader in various organisations ever since. He currently earns a crust as a registrar at Dubbo Base.Quote:

A very good riend of mine was married, had two children by an Aussie girl, had two children, and then was divorced for around 30 years. That is the first part of the story.
This person was no idiot, He was an established builder, always had a waiting list if ya wanted him, and He was the Rolls Royce of builders in quality. Lovely man, plenty of "öpportunities" for romance, but never found anyone with whom he wished to connect,....Until?
He eventually made contact, via a mutual friend, with a family in the Phillipines, who connected him with a member of the family, who subsequently came over to visit him.
Anyway, they eventually connected, got married when He was 60+, but that's not the end of the story, they had two children.
And then, the bad part of this story, my friend contracted, and eventually died from, protrate cancer.
BUT, the good part of the story, this lovely lady, has done her level best to remember her hubby, she has a "special" rememberance spot for him in the garden, and she ensures that her two boys remember their Dad.
An absolutely lovely lady, & true to the memory of her late husband.
