    What will happen next?

About 20 years ago I thought to myself I wouldn't mind one of those v8 Land Rover thingies.
So in the year 2000 I bought a td5 disco.
Anyway , joined the Land Rover owners club, and there was some really nice cool ,sane people there as well as some old guys with beards and socks with sandals who would talk incessantly about rivets and the like.
At the time I passed them off as harm less folk, but I am now wondering if they may have dome mystical powers or secret knowledge

So very shortly after the disco was boring and my wife's daily drive ,so I bought an ex army 11a, then when I got as far as I reasonably could go with that one I bought a 2 door Rangie. I then started on a mission to modify the hell out of it, until I couldn't drive it on the road anymore.
So next a 1985county, that I said was going to be more family friendly , I 🤥.
    I also purchased a 2004 110 and have grown a beard.
Although if I have socks on and want to go outside I have always just put boots on.
    What will happen next?

I think you need to read this thread What does a defender driver look like? full of useful dresscode information for you.

As far as vehicles go.... You said you wanted a V8, so why not convert your 2004 to LS3....

In the last photo of that thread the only blokes who don't have beards are women.

Socks and sandals should never be seen together.
Beards are always pleasing to behold.
