The spelling may have been fixed, but there is still a serious problem.

The substituted word is the wrong part of speech!

The original S word in that context is a noun, but the substitute word is a verb.

A more appropriate substitution would be "bovine excrement".

With Ron taking a well earned rest, someone has to ensure that standards are maintained.

Hmm, maybe the suggestion to use random Disney Characters or Land Rover Part numbers as substitute words was a good idea after all.

The whole purpose of the swear filter is to help keep things G rated... I am sure there are far worse grammatical offences around the place to keep you folks occupied.

How about 'crap' or has this been 'sent to Coventry' as well ?

ps. there you go !, a short, sharp and expressive noun that doesn't offend the system.

"Cow pat" just doesn't carry the same emphasis nor does the scientific terms

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Well people. With inappropriate substitute words coming up instead of asterisks, we'll just have to be more creative. I'll be buggered if I'll have any bogus words shoved up my asterisk.
    Cheers, Billy.

The logical (to me anyway) solution would be choose words that will not be substituted
