    Had enough rain yet?

400+ millimeters at our place and we aren't even in a cyclone. Logan river is up and due to flood. We are used to it has happened several times before. We will be isolated for a few days, I will take pic tomorrow or the next when the rain eases.

It is a rain depression, after all. Don't go to live in the Territory, if you think that's a lot of rain.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

just checked my gauge....showed 120mm for the day but it was full so could have been more

I am sure the correct spelling for gauge is guage but my MacQuarie tells me different

Exactly the rain up there is much worse. Been in it many times. We still however have ex-cyclone Debbe to hit later tonight.

Been hosing down here as well, good rain.

I can't believe all the businesses, etc that have shut down, many shut at midday today.

Seems ridiculous to me,half the shops are shut as well.

Little or no wind, still raining though.

Naah my Collins, Oxford and Websters all say the same spelling - gauge. But for rain gauge lets use the Spanish - pluviometro, it's easier to spell
