ATO reveals Australia's richest and poorest suburbs

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

The average wage on Norfolk is $29,000, of which they pay no tax.

I'm surprised Brighton missed the rich list, Bob. Maybe they're only considering the dosh, not the old blokes who live there.

We have riches far beyond the mundane worship of the unholy dollar. Besides, we have a tight knit community [ except for those southern blow-ins] and we may or may not have that old fashioned Aussie value of cash in hand. [ Only for the locals] Don't tell go-slow, or no-go, or whatever his name is.

Did anyone notice that most of the poorest ones are not, in fact, suburbs, but rural towns or villages?

A suburb is part of a large town or city, and the word is incorrectly used to refer to these. The list actually is by postcode, and I suspect this is how ATO published it, and the use of "suburb" only appeared when they made it into a news item.

I did John. I also noticed that most of them are in the same general area, albeit spread from south of Cunnamulla to north of Longreach, sheep country in the Channel Country.
