    Back in Sydney....Trip over

    Howdy All

Well got back in Sydney yesterday....still unpacking everything.

    :?

Sort of nice being home, but it is a weird feeling really. Cannot believe 10 months have gone so quickly.

Both Kimba and Iggy pretty much behaved themselves during the 50,000 odd kms we did. Could not really fault either of them, given where we went and what we put them through. Both are now looking forward to being pampered...

Only 2 flats during the entire trip (and one was a nail which I picked up in the main street of Burra). Although I am needing to invest in some new tyres as the current ones don't owe me anything....hmmm....255/85 MTs

Look forward to catching up with some of the AULRO folk in the near future.

Arghhhh....Sydney weather, gotta love that humidity!

Thanks OI -- hope all is well at your end.

    Hmmm....fire and beer! Great combination.

Happy to debrief...highlights are many and varied. There are some 'interesting' people roaming around our country  8O

Welcome back Noddy, Kimba & Iggy!!!

Damm Straight a camp fire debriefing is in order 8O
What you think just because you alittle tired and their alittle dirty you don't have to tell your mates about it.

    Pfft....

Driving around Australia is like going fishing, Never happened until you tell your mates about it!!!!

And besides Half the fun of doing it is telling someone about it afterwards.
Kinda reminds me of I girl I once knew

Good to have you back. Now I can book in to go places knowing that there will be someone experienced enough to tow me back home again

    Long live Kimba!!!

Welcome back. I wish we'd caught up in Broome. The penny did not drop until after our ultra brief encounter in the street and while over the following days we saw Kimba parked in the street many times (if there were hand prints and the odd bit of drool - it was probably us) I never saw you again to say Hi properly.

My mate has a crew cab without aircon and so he and his wife drive with the windows open - of all the features on Kimba their favourite was the wind deflectors on the passenger and drivers doors. I like the water tank and tap.
