    how much to paint a house?

    how much to paint the insides of a house?
    i got 3 guys to come out n quote me. only 1 ended up getting me a quote.

    2x bedroom
    Bathroom
    Lounge
    Kitchen
    Rumpus
    Hallway

    all prep and paint, 2 coats, ceilings, walls and trim.


    6.4k plus gst.


    and before you say do it yourself, i'm a **** painter.
    Current Cars:
    2013 E3 Maloo, 350kw
    2008 RRS, TDV8
    1995 VS Clubsport

    Previous Cars:
    2008 ML63, V8
    2002 VY SS Ute, 300kw
    2002 Disco 2, LS1 conversion

    If only one quotes than I guess that's how much it going to cost.

    Good prep is where the cost and final look comes from.

    So maybe you are faced with 6.4K for a painter... or 2K to do it yourself and 4.5 to clean up the mess


    I'd be looking for more quotes or at least understanding how a quote like that breaks down.....as others have said, prep is the key with painting, so maybe you can do some of that?
