This is my 23 yrs old grand daughter that thinks she has great mechanical skills and knowledge

She, I need a 16 mil spanner and what ever you need to undo lock tight
Me, What size is the lock tight.
She, Just bring what ever tools you use to undo it
Me, What are you doing
She, Taking the power steering pump off a Commodore.
Me, I will see what I have in the way of lock tight tools.
She, You must have the tools in one of your tool boxes

Another good one was the starter motor is buggered on my car, can you fix it, Ans. no, well what do I do Ans, get a replacement. Now due to the fact I had just had a replacement elbow fitted I was not allowed near spanners for some time Now this is not a problem to granddaughter she will sort the problem herself but she needed every spanner in both toolboxes, 1/2 hour later she come in side with an alternator and a cut fan belt. My question to her what are you doing with that. her Ans. I told you it does not work. Me- But you said the starter motor was buggered. Her- well what do you think this is. Me - I don't think, I know its the alternator Her - are you sure. Me- Why did you cut the belt ? Her- because it was in the way. Pop always get lefty to sort the mess.
