Pickles auction has a few cars listed out that way on their current auction, not sure if they are related or not.

    I've been following this one

The story on the one in Pearcedale I bet he was only accepting cash for his parts, with there quite a few back yard wreckers around, it's ok if some one is selling bits off their own wrecked cars, but then there are those that acquire cars and make a black market business out it. Never declaring any income to the tax dept, only accepting cash and no receipts. Best to avoid them

And what's wrong with that ?? Not a 'business' but I've parted out a couple of Land Rovers and sold parts to help cover the cost of my hobby......

I've also purchased parts from people with many vehicles on their property. If they have the part I need and the price is fair a deal is done (with no receipt).

Nothing wrong with that Colin, you missed the point I was making, the ones that have heaps of vehicles and are doing it as a business.

Not sure that I missed the point.....if they had what I wanted at what I thought was a fair price I would still buy from them rather than 'avoiding them'.
