Blinman Land Rover collection
Finally got to the Flinders after many years and a few aborted trips and was interested in stopping at Blinman as I knew the old meet up was there. The town doesn't contain much, the hotel is closed at the moment (no idea if it will open again, just marked private keep out, ger off moi land etc. ) so only the cafe/general store and mine tour of interest if stopping in.
Well, apart from the house that looked to be be/was a post office which had heaps of land rovers in the yard.2017-05-27 13.05.08.jpg
So who is he/she, I couldn't see anyone about and when I asked at the cafe I got a relaxed of answer, "I think he just likes them".
It must have been packed during the LR register meet up and a real boon to the town I'd expect. Must have been gutting to hear it was moving to Melrose when it happened.

I heard at our LRRSA meeting on friday that the pub has been sold and the new owners are looking for someone to run it. The LRRSA still leases some land at Blinman.
Cheers Rod
