    2010 was the rumoured date here, the 2008 date is for the US and UK as stated above. LR wanted to get the launch of the D3, RRS, New Freelander and new range rover out of the way first. Then the defender will get some of the limelight. Matt

    Hmmm.. the problem I have with all this is that the replacement will have to be tough and easy to repair like the current car. :roll: :roll:

    I'm worries enough about the electronics on the fender as it is..

    I think the new defender will be more hummer like !!! Because LR/FORD will want to take on the US market, not the Australia market !!!
