    I took 10 minutes to register, just to get authorisation to read the post. I wish I hadn't.

    Plenty of 'my friends friends cousin' type crap had a LR and it broke. At least there were a few 'good guys' on there with genuine LR feedback.
    It started because some young guy was thinking of buying a 1992 Tdi. I think most people forget they are now a 14 year old vehicle, and many won't be faultless. Thats why you shop around for a good one.
    The insane Jap maniacs don't even differentiate between the S1 and 2 Disco, despite thousands of changes between the two, so how can you trust any of their 'advice?' They just say 'Disco's are crap'. Yeah, good one guys, which Series? Real knowledgable.
